Fichtner is experienced in the procurement and engineering of renewable energy technologies throughout all project phases, from feasibility studies to commissioning, from small-scale projects to major schemes involving several hundred megawatts of installed capacity. We utilise the latest IT systems for representation, analysis and assessment of the yield, impacts and design of renewable energy projects, using our proprietary Solpro software in the solar sector and WindPRO/WASP software packages in the wind sector.

Fichtner’s activities in the wind energy sector date back to late 1980s, with our team participating in the development, appraisal and construction of a vast range of challenging projects both on-shore and off-shore.

Fichtner is internationally recognised for its excellence in solar engineering, recovering energy through both solar thermal and photovoltaic technologies. Our team has provided engineering services for numerous large solar power plant projects across five continents, with notable expertise in the integration of solar power with conventional power plants.
