Lakeside Energy from Waste Facility - Owner’s Engineer for the development of the Lakeside Energy from Waste facility in Colnbrook a 400,000 tpa two-stream facility including a materials recovery facility of 40,000 tpa.
Riverside Resource Recovery Facility - Owner's Engineer for Riverside Resource Recovery Facility, the 585,000 tpa Energy from Waste Facility at Belvedere, Bexley now under construction.
Wrexham Waste PFI Contract - Owner's and Lender’s technical advisor for Wrexham PFI waste contract for a resource recovery facility with technology including materials recycling and composting.  Financial close successfully achieved in March 2007. Fichtner are Project Manager of the multiple procurement contract construction phase.
Lancashire Waste PFI Contract - Lender's technical due diligence for project incorporating MBT/AD/percolation (with power generation), MRF and in‑vessel composting technologies for the processing of residual MSW and source separated fractions spread over two sites. Currently monitoring construction progress post financial close.
Greater Manchester Waste PFI Contract - Lender's technical due diligence for project covering the expansion of numerous existing and new build waste processing facilities spread across approximately 30 sites and their ongoing O&M. The facilities include conventional combustion, MBT/AD, MRF, in‑vessel composting, transfer stations, and HWRCs. The project also includes the Runcorn EfW facility for processing of SRF which incorporates rail transportation and could potentially become the largest EfW project in the UK.
Jersey TTSD - Preparation of waste strategy for the Island, and Project management for the development, permitting, and procurement for a new energy from waste facility on Jersey.
Dumfries & Galloway Waste PFI Contract - Technical due diligence assessment of the residual waste treatment and disposal scheme by Shanks Waste Solutions for Dumfries and Galloway Waste PFI Contract.  Technical support and due diligence for proposed MBT, Bio-Drying / RDF and composting schemes.
Environmental Services Association - Assessment of viability of advanced thermal treatment (gasification & pyrolysis) of MSW in the UK. Final report was published by ESTET, presented to government officials (DEFRA, Environment Agency, DTI, LGA (Local Government Association), the press and made available to the public.
Severn Waste Services - Owner's Engineer services from tender to handover for the new commingled material reclamation facility in Central Worcestershire.
Cambridgeshire Waste PFI - Lender's Technical Advisor for the Cambridgeshire Waste PFI, providing a technical due diligence review of Donarbon's proposals, including a MBT facility, green waste composting facility and transfer stations. Technical Advisor during construction phase.
Tyseley Waste Disposal Ltd - Thermal cycle modelling, development of modified air preheater concept, detailed engineering and project management of multiple supply and erection contracts. Scheme paid for itself in 18 months. Multiple contract approach reduced original scheme cost by 15 to 20%.
Confidential Hazardous Waste Incinerator - Investigation of hazardous waste incinerator, identification of measures for improving performance and reducing maintenance outages, detailed engineering of upgrade measures, preparation of specifications for multiple contract implementation, technical and project management support for client during construction and commissioning.
Project Black Bag - Technical due diligence on a 100, 000 tonnes per annum municipal solid waste treatment and recycling facility. Facility based on autoclave technology, pyrolysis, and steam turbine. 3 phase due diligence based on waste availability, suitability of technology and experience of main contractor.
Lakeside Clinical & Hazardous Waste Incinerator - Owner's Engineer for the largest clinical waste incinerator in the UK.  Procurement on a multiple contract basis, construction monitoring, commissioning, testing and operational support.
Newlincs Development - Support for development of new Energy from Waste facility in North East Lincolnshire, including Energy Utilisation study and an assessment of alternative technologies, including composting, anaerobic digestion, gasification and pyrolysis for treatment of MSW.
Eastcroft - Owner's Engineer for the various plant upgrade works undertaken on a multiple contract basis to improve plant availability and WID compliance, including boiler renewal, FGT refurbishment, hydraulic system replacement, SNCR installation, and control system upgrades.
Blaise Farm - Technical due diligence of proposed composting facility with capacity for 50,000 tonnes per annum of green garden waste, and household kitchen waste.
Etwall - Project Management Support services for Etwall Composting Project.
