Technical Advisor to Wetfeet Offshore Wind energy GmbH during the development of the Global Tech I offshore wind farm in the North Sea, which when complete will consist of a total of eighty 5 MW wind turbines.

Fichtner oversaw the project organisation, project management, risk management and O & M concept. Other services provided for the Owners Engineer role included comparison of tripod with gravity foundations, setting up the logistics concept and interface matrix, assessment of wind yield calculations, the drafting the supply and service contracts, contract review, risk management, permits, licensing and HSE, CO2 emission balancing, support in Q & M concept analysis, and technical advice for offshore logistics.  

Fichtner provided construction and operation supervision throughout the onshore construction, installation and functional testing, and offshore functional testing procedures.
