Fichtner offer expert consultancy throughout the environmental field for both public and private sector clients responding to a frequently changing national environmental framework.
The company is involved in all stages of waste planning, including waste strategy, concept design of built facilities (for planning purposes), and project management.

Fichtner promotes an integrated approach to design work associated with waste development where environmental and functional objectives are combined with a fundamental concern for cost effectiveness in the implementation stage.
Over the last four years Fichtner have prepared and submitted a total of 18 PPC Applications for waste and combustion plants, including six biomass plants, eleven energy-from-waste plants and an autoclave. We are currently preparing EP applications for four energy-from-waste plants and one biomass plant.
